Organized by the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), the HKDA Awards has been the biggest and most important professional design competition in Hong Kong and Asia for the last 34 years. It is a

comprehensive, multi-disciplinary design competition for professionals working in the fields of graphics, product design, spatial and new media.
The awards originated in Hong Kong in 1975 and are presided over by a judging panel of globally respected design icons. HKDA Awards 07 received more than 1,700 entries from over 30 different countries including Mainland China, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taipei and Hong Kong.
