Rarely seen in the United States, the labels that once adorned cartons of exported Japanese silk were emblazoned with traditional motifs: birds, animals, flowers, warriors, and butterflies. This unique collection features over 200 vibrant labels that traveled the famed Silk Road to Italy from 1900 through the 1930s. All images also included on bonus CD-ROM.
